Had a near-miss worth telling?

A duplicate payment caught three days before sign-off. A backdated approval a timestamp gave away. A reconciliation nobody could explain until someone actually traced it. Real stories, told anonymously, are more useful to other audit teams than another generic how-to.

Change names, amounts and anything identifying before you write it — we'll anonymise further on our end regardless.

We'll never publish anything with your firm's real name, or without reaching out first.

What happens to it

  • We read every submission. Not all of them become a published piece — some are too specific to anonymise safely, and that's fine.
  • If we do write it up, your firm's name, the client's identity, and any detail that could identify either one are changed or removed before anything is published — the same discipline every composite scenario already on the site follows.
  • We'll reach out to the email you give before publishing anything, not after.
