Free tool

Check your purchase register for free, right now.

Drop in a CSV export. In seconds, see duplicate payments, suspicious round-sum amounts, weekend-dated invoices and incomplete records — the same kind of exceptions a real engagement finds, on one file, before you talk to anyone.

Drop your purchase register CSV here, or choose a file.

Needs columns for vendor, invoice number, date and amount. Nothing is uploaded — this runs entirely in your browser.

What this does and doesn't do

  • Your file is read entirely in your browser using the File API — it is never uploaded, sent to a server, or stored anywhere. Close the tab and it's gone.
  • It runs four specific checks: exact or near-exact duplicate payments, round-sum amounts above ₹10,000, weekend-dated invoices, and rows missing a vendor, invoice number or amount. It does not test cut-off, authorisation, GST treatment, or three-way matching against goods receipts — those need more than a CSV, which is what the real product does across a full engagement.
  • A flag here is a prompt to look closer, never a conclusion. A round-sum payment or a weekend-dated invoice is very often entirely legitimate.

How to use this

  1. Export your purchase register as CSV

From Tally, Zoho Books, or whatever you use — one row per transaction, with vendor, invoice number, date and amount as columns.

  2. Drop it in above

The tool reads common header variations ("Vendor"/"Supplier", "Amount"/"Value") automatically — no need to rename columns first.

  3. Read the flagged rows, not just the counts

Each finding names what to actually go check — a specific duplicate pair, a specific weekend date — not just a number.

  4. Investigate before concluding anything

Every flag here is a prompt, not a verdict. Pull the underlying invoice before treating anything as confirmed.

This free tool, and where it stops

This free tool checks

  • Duplicate payments (same vendor, same amount, close dates)
  • Round-sum amounts above ₹10,000
  • Weekend-dated invoices
  • Rows missing vendor, invoice number or amount

A full engagement in Lekhya also checks

  • Full three-way match against purchase orders and goods receipts
  • Cut-off testing against dispatch/receipt dates
  • GST treatment and blocked-credit checks
  • Authorisation against the client's actual approval thresholds
  • Every exception linked to its source document, continuously, not once

One run, one file, four or five rules — versus every procedure a real engagement needs, run continuously against the full population, with every exception linked to its source document.
